An English Carved Oak Welsh Dresser, late 19th c., Jas. Schoolbred & Co., labeled, molded cornice, scalloped frieze, three shelves flanked by arched paneled cupboard doors, base with two drawers and cupboard doors, turned legs, stretcher base, height 82 in., width 72 in., depth 21 3/4 in.
Note: Schoolbred & Co. was a high-end London firm working c. 1870. The firm had a large exhibit at the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition of 1876.
