An English Carved Tropical Hardwood Metamorphic Campaign Bed, mid-to-late 19th c., adjustable cane seats, molded rails, foliate turned feet, height 15 1/2 in. to 42 3/4 in., length 75 in., width 27 1/4 in.
Note: Companies such as Robinson & Sons, Leveson & Son and the Army and Navy Co-Operative Society produced campaign beds very similar to the lot offered here. This bed, as with many of the others, folded for travel and the legs unscrewed.
