An English Georgian Silk-on-Silk Satin Stitch Embroidery, c. 1800, the oval centered by a scene of children playing in a farmyard enframed by blue spangles and surrounded by a floral wreath, the children with painted silk faces, sight 12 1/4 in. x 11 1/2 in., in the original giltwood frame, 15 1/4 in. x 14 1/4 in. Note: Some damage to frame.
