An English Gothic Carved Pollard Oak, Burled Walnut and Inlaid Tilt Top Center Table, late 19th c., possibly by Gillows of London and Lancaster, the octagonal segmented top with large compass star in burled walnut, sawtooth inlaid inner border, burled foliate-carved banding, scrolled skirt with rosettes, support with trefoil brackets on a floral-carved plinth issuing arched shoe feet, height 30 in., diameter 40 1/2 in.
