An Extraordinary Italian Mahogany Center Table, late 19th/early 20th c., the top delicately wrought in scagliola with concentric radial bands of fictive malachite and lapis, bordered by a yellow Greek key motif, on a broad drum supported by three dolphins cavorting on a giant concave shell, over a wide basal disk of spreading profile, on molded feet, the structural elements all richly carved in flame mahogany, label on the underside of the top "Galleria A. Ramboldi, via Castiglione 101, Bologna", height 30 in., diameter 35 1/2 in.
