An Extremely Rare New Orleans Pottery Club Two-Handled Jardiniere, c.1883-1887, in "Rockingham" glaze and diagonal bands of phlox flower heads and floral sprigs, signed on the base in sgraffito, "The Pottery Club/249 Baronne St./N.O./La." height 16.5in., diameter 10 in. E15000/20000 Note: Only three New Orleans Pottery Club jardinieres are known at the present time: one is in the collection of the New Orleans Museum of Art, another in the Louisiana State Museum, this isthe third example to appear.
