Starr, New York, the bonnet with carved shell ornaments above frieze with applied vines over an arched glazed door with flanking acanthus scrolled supports, the silvered dial with applied brass Arabic numerals and pierced spandrels with inscribed medallion, the case with carved putti supports and central glazed door revealing nine tubular bells marked Durfee, below shell and foliate carving, the plinth base with scrolled brackets ending in bun feet, height 97 in., width 23 in., depth 15 in.
