An Important American Gothic Carved Walnut Corner Etagere, c. 1845- 1850, New York, having graduated open shelves and pierced backs abovea mirrored-glazed bowfront cabinet divided into three Gothic arched panels, height 73in., width 30in., depth 19in. E3000-4000 Note: An identical "etagere encoigneur" is illustrated in The Gothic Revival Style in America, 1830-1970, Howe and Warren, pl. 89, pg. 50; that illustrated cabinet is in the collection of the Brooklyn Museum.
