An Impressive Three Piece American Gothic Carved Mahogany Bedroom Suite, c. 1830, comprising a mirrored dressing chest, bed steps, and tall post bedstead, the dressing chest with crocketed spires centering mirrors above drawers, the original marble top above side cabinets flanking drawers, ending in blocked base; the bedstep with a commode compartment; the bedstead having faceted posts blocked at the center with arched open sections on the four sides, ending in tapered faceted legs, the headboard with central crocketed spire above arched panels, with conforming foot and side rails, in 'estate' condition, bed: height 88 in., inside width 64 in., length 81 in.; dresser: height 88 in., width 53 in., depth 25.5in.: Bed step: height 24.5in., width 22 in., depth 31 in.
