An Interesting Collection of Scrimshaw Sperm Whale Teeth, early-to- mid 19th c., probably American, all engraved with various nautical motifs, one signed "Lawrence Weaner-1881", another engraved with a world map titled "From Saigon to Boston-81 Days 1853", one depicting asailor and a bottle of Grog titled "Sailors Right", one depicting a spread eagle, another a family scene dated 1856, and one having a carved relief of a harpoon, five pieces are dated 1881, 1856, 1853, 1843, 1834, note: having variable age cracks, approx. length 6 in. (9pcs. total).
