Attributed to Diego M. Rivera (Mexican, 1886-1957), Portrait of Al Rose, charcoal on paper, unsigned, sight 12 in. x 9.25in. E1000/1500 Provenance: Estate of Al Rose, New Orleans. Note: According to an article written by Daniel Meyer in 1993 for Dialogue Magazine, this Portrait of Al Rose by famed Mexican artist Diego Rivera hung in Rose's home. As a young art student, Rose had studied with Rivera in Mexico City.
