Attributed to John Crome (British, 1768-1821), "Pastoral", oil on canvas, remnants of signature at lower left, old typewritten attribution label and pencil inscription "R.C. VOSE" en verso of frame, 9 3/4 in. x 11 in., in an antique giltwood frame.

  • Notes: Note: Robert C. Vose (1873-1964) is considered one of the greatest art dealers of his era in America and is credited with turning Vose Galleries, Boston, from a provincial gallery into a one of international prominence.
