Conditions of Sale

Shipping IS AVAILABLE at Buyer's expense. For those wishing to pick-up locally, items must be picked up within 2 months unless prior arrangements are made with Chupp Auctions.
NOTICE: Large items will be shipped pallet freight which is expensive and might require the item to be disassembled which will incur an additional cost. BICYCLES are also expensive to ship. $40 Handling will be added for each bike to cover extra packing time. Each lot that needs to be pallet shipped will also incur an extra $25 charge for time and supplies. You are welcome to arrange your own shipping if you wish. VEHICLES will not be shipped by Chupp Auctions. Buyer must arrange pick-up for vehicles.
*If you purchase a weathervane with lightning rod, we will send everything but the stand or holder unless you are willing to pay for pallet shipping.

Buyers Premium

The successful bidder agrees to pay a buyer's premium in the amount of 28% of the hammer price on each lot. No exceptions. A cash payment discount is not available for online purchases.

Condition Reports

It is the responsibility of the prospective buyer to inquire as to the condition of a specific lot PRIOR to bidding. CONDITION WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE LOT.
If there is not a condition report posted as an additional image please email requests to [email protected], emails must include all contact information. Requests are answered in the order they are received.
Condition reports WILL NOT be given over the phone under any circumstances.
Requests placed on auction day will not be answered and we reserve the right to close the Condition Report desk at ANY time.
DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CONDITION REPORT. All potential buyers should be sure they have read and agree to the Conditions of Sale.
The deadline for new Condition Report requests is Wednesday by 5pm, following that time requests may not be able to be completed in time for the auction. NO RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED ON THE BASIS OF CONDITION.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN OBTAINING A SHIPPING QUOTE FOR A PIECE OF ARTWORK PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL DIMENSIONS LISTED IN OUR ART DESCRIPTIONS ARE OF THE ART ONLY AND DO NOT INCLUDE THE FRAME. WE ARE HAPPY TO PROVIDE DIMENSIONS WITH THE FRAME UPON REQUEST.

Payment

The successful bidder agrees to pay a buyer's premium in the amount of 28% of the hammer price on each lot. No cash discount. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL.
Payment in full must be made by the successful bidder within 5 days of the auction date. Interest charges will apply to invoices not paid after this period expires. We reserve the right to require payment in full of the sales price at the moment of the successful bid.
VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted for invoices up to $25,000 per customer. If a client does not pay within 10 days of the auction, the credit card number provided to establish your bidding account will be charged in full for the invoice amount due until paid in full.
For payments made by check, merchandise will not be released until 10 days after payment is received when the check clears.

Shipping

IT IS THE BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY TO ARRANGE AND PAY FOR PACKING & SHIPPING. ALL BUYERS MUST CONTACT A SHIPPING COMPANY TO MAKE ALL PACKING AND SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS INCLUDING PICK UP, SHIPPING CHARGES, AND CLAIMS. Final arrangements and agreements are strictly between the buyer and the shipper. Neal Auction is not responsible for the buyers choice of a shipper or to any occurrences during shipping. Although we do not offer packing or shipping service, we do work closely with several shipping companies. Please notify us which company you have chosen, as we will not release your merchandise to anyone without your authorization.

Taxes

Unless exempt by law, the purchaser will be required to pay Louisiana and local taxes, and, if applicable, any federal luxury or other tax, on the total purchase price.
Documentation of tax exemption must be provided upon registration. Taxes will not be removed without proper documentation.
