An Antique Biscuit Porcelain Portrait Bust of Napoleon, mid-19th c., after Jean-Antoine Houdon (French, 1741-1828), cast signature "Houdon" and inscription "Buste Officiel/Napoleon/Empereur/1805" at back of neck; impressed and underglaze blue "Sevres" marks, cobalt socle on bronze pedestal, height 27 1/4 in Provenance: Versailles, France collection. Note: This bust is modeled on the notable 1806 terracotta example by Houdon, now in the Musee de Beaux-Arts de Dijon
