A Pair of American Gilt Lacquered Bronze and Crystal Five-Light Girandoles, c. 1840, possibly Hooper & Co., Boston, foliate candlearms above faceted crystal stem with prism-hung lobed collar, floriform base, height 23 in., width 15 in., depth 8 in Note: The foliate arms are characteristic of many examples depicted in the 1850 Hooper catalogue.
