A Rare American Gilt and Patinated Bronze Miniature Sinumbra Lamp, mid-19th c., attributed to William Carleton, Boston, columnar standard, stepped foot on square plinth, hand-blown frosted globe and chimney, height 17 in., diameter 6 in. Provenance: Private Collection, New Orleans, LA Note: The standard, tin donut-shaped font fitted for a 5 3/8 diameter shade is indicitive of the Boston manufacturer William Carleton.
