An Antique Baroque-Style Carved and Ebonized Rosewood Cupboard or 'Kussenkast', probably late 19th c., of 17th c. Dutch inspiration, flared cornice centered by cabochon crest with birds and scrolled acanthus, molded frieze divided by lion's masques, paneled doors, columnar pilasters (central column slides to expose key hole), interior with two shelves each fitted with a long drawer, plinth base with two drawers, bell feet, height 74 in., width 80 1/2 in., depth 32 in Provenance: Purchased in Belgium in 1997.
