American Classical Carved Mahogany Center Table, c. 1825, attr. to Isaac Vose and Son, Boston, circular rosewood banded tilt top, chamfered triangular support, incurvate triangular plinth, scroll feet, casters, h. 29 in., dia. 39 in. Note: The paneled standard, shaped plinth, and distinctive scroll feet on this table are very similar to those on a noted games table bearing the stencil of Isaac Vose and Son conserved at the St. Louis Museum of Art (acc. 127:1965).
