A Group of Four Antique Chinese Carved and Painted Wood Figures, probably Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) or earlier, comprised of two dignitaries, each height 7 1/8 in., raised on lotus pedestal plinths, overal height 8 1/4 in.; a Luohan, height 9 1/2 in.; and a seated Buddha (losses), height 4 in Provenance: With Benjamin Franklin March, Jr. (1899-1934), Curator of Asiatic Ar t, Detroit Institute of Arts (1927-1931); thence by descent in his family.
