A Chinese Mother-of-Pearl and Hardstone Embellished Carved Zitan Box, 20th c., rectangular body carved around the top and bottom edge with pendant ruyi bands, the sliding cover carved and applied with a scene of a crane perched upon a tall rock amid prunus, pine and bamboo foliage and lingzhi sprays, plaque inscribed "garden of the cranes of longevity", height 3 5/8 in., length 10 1/2 in., width 6 5/8 in Provenance: Aixinjueluo Collection.
