A Chinese Silver Wire Inlaid Hardwood Figural Group of a Boy on a Buffalo, late 19th/early 20th c., carved as a partially crouching buffalo with a boy straddling its back, raised on a naturalistic rounded base, height 8 in., width 7 1/2 in Provenance: Acquired c. 1920s-1930s; thence by descent in the family of Madelyn Cohn Cahn Conne Kiam Kreisler (b. 1890, New Orleans - d. 1975, New York).
