A Chinese Yellow Jade Vase and Cover, Qianlong mark but probably 19th c., flattened baluster body relief carved with stylized lotus and chrysanthemum scrolls to the front and back sides; the waisted neck with pendant leaf tips along the rectangular rim, the sides carved with reticulated leafy chrysanthemum spray handles suspending loose rings; the mounded rectangular cover relief carved with stylized leaf sprays to the front and back, the sides carved with reticulated scroll handles, the top surmounted by a waisted coffer-form finial surmounted by a chrysanthemum head; recessed base with incised Qianlong mark, height 11 in.
