[CIVIL WAR VETERAN, ARMY OF NORTHERN VIRGINIA, being a partially printed manuscript document memorializing Major William H. Manning, C S.A., 6th Louisiana Regiment. Written on Headed stationery "Army of Northern Virginia, Benevolent Association, Louisiana Division" and having a hand-colored Confederate flag at upper left. The Memorium dated Nov. 13, 1890 at New Orleans, "... Resolved that by the death of our Comrade the Association has sustained a loss which cannot be repaired and that this humble testament is hereby inscribed as a tribute to a good Soldier...", Embossed with the "Army of North Virginia" Seal - "LA. Div", (From Manassas to Appomattox). E2000-3000 Note: Proceeds to benefit Karr High School Band, New Orleans, LA.
