  • Notes: Note: Many of the local artists of the day including Morris Henry Hobbs, Charles Reinike and Clarence Millet sold paintings and prints through the Harmanson Bookstore on 333 Royal Street in the French Quarter. Owned by J.S.E. and Virginia Harmanson, the bookstore catered to tourists as well as local collectors. In addition to selling local artwork, prints, rare books, maps and documents, they also published books, postcards and calendars related to the history of New Orleans and the French Quarter.
