Confederate Louisiana-tangipahoa-artillery Ordnance A.d.s. J.h. Wingfield, Captain, C.s.a. a single manuscript page receipt for ordnance received from Thomas O. Moore, Governor and Commander-in- Chief of Louisiana by authorization of order No. 5 Captain C.C. ferns of the Confederate Guards Artillery acting as the states agent turns the ordnance over to Captain Wingfield. The receipt is dated May 13th,1862 at Tangipahoa Camp Moore and the itemization includes two 2- pounder smooth guns and two 5 pound howitzers. A remarkable manuscriptartifact from the Confederate State troops in Louisiana.
