  • Medium: oil on panel
  • Condition: Difficult to penetrate varnish layer with UV light; 2 in. x 1 1/4 in. area of visible inpainting upper center; paint loss with active flaking along edges; faint craquelure pattern visible throughout; 10 1/2 in. crack across main figure; numerous natural, horizontal indentations across piece due to panel; 1/8 in. dot of paint loss mid-right on figure in red; scattered pinpoint and small dot losses throughout; scattered accretions and light marks; toning of the varnish layer; surface dirt; frame has separation at all corners, losses, repairs, cracks, marks, nicks and abrasions.
