(sight), framed. E1000-1500 Note: D'Anville was the royal geographer and cartographer, and these maps were from his famous elephant folio atlas. Published under the patronage of the Duke of Orleans, brother to the king, these maps were the most detailed that were produced during the reign of Louis XV.
