E6000/9000 Note: The self-taught artist Earl Cunningham was known from his brilliantly colored seascapes and landscapes. After working a variety of odd jobs, Cunningham settled in St. Augustine, Florida and opened a curio shop he called the Over-Fork Gallery. Cunningham began to paint, but refused to sell any of his paintings during his lifetime. The Mennello Museum of Folk Art in Orlando is the main repository of Cunningham's artwork.
