Edward Armfield (English, 1817-1896), "Three Terriers in a Barn", oil on canvas, signed lower left, 12 in. x 16 in., in a giltwood frame. Note: Armfield was a much sought-after London painter of dogs, particularly terriers, at play. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, the British Institute, and Suffolk Street.
