PLEASE NOTE: A writer, painter, arts activist, musician and poet, Eli Cantor worked as a businessman in New York City. Cantor wrote for Esquire Magazine as well as for television and the theater. He was a member of the of Yaddo Art Colony in Saratoga Springs, New York, and retired in 1981 to Sarasota, Florida, where he created paintings, music and poetry.
