Emily Hamilton Huger (American/Louisiana, 1881-1946), "Paradise Grove Breaux Bridge, Louisiana", oil on canvas, unsigned, original cypressframe, 31 in. x 36 in. E10000/15000 Note: This painting hung in the artist's office at what is now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette until her retirement in 1931, when painting was given to Joseph Lafayette Fletcher, the president of the University. Provenance Mrs. Fletcher to her son to the present owner. Exhibited in two showsat Lafayette University Museum.
