An American Federal Mahogany Inlaid Three-Part Dining Table, c.1800, comprised of two D ends and central section with drop leaves, central frieze fitted with a drawer with brass bail stamped "HJ" for Thomas Hand & William Jenkins, Birmingham, England; square tapered legs, height 28 1/2 in., extended length 150 in., width 47 in. Note: Accompanied by two later leaves Note: Between 1791 and 1797 to 1805 Thomas Hand and William Jenkins formed a partnership in the manufacture of "commode handles".
