A Fine Neoclassical Gilt Bronze, Pink Lez Breccia and Blue Enamel Occasional Table, late 19th c., possibly Paris or St. Petersburg, pierced frieze of entwined oak and laurel leaves interspersed with masque blocks, serpentine stretcher joined by circular wreath mount, acanthine cloven hoof feet, height 29 in., width 20 1/2 in., depth 12 1/2 in Note: The striking blue enamel and bronze doré supports on this table, in conjunction with the rare breche rose de lez stone top, are perhaps influenced by Beaux Arts jewelers, particularly Carl Fabergé. A rectanglar table à cafe with identical supports to those seen here was sold by Neal Auction Company as lot 314, November 19, 2011.
