Illustrated: The Steven Harvey Collection of Southern Art, The Charleston Renaissance Gallery, 2005, p. 28 Note : Born in Newport News, VA in 1898, Glenna Latimer studied with Daniel Garber and Hugh Breckenridge at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. She returned to Virginia and settled in nearby Norfolk where she worked as a painter and a children's book illustrator. Her work was exhibited at the 1939 World's Fair in New York, The Corcoran Gallery, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and in several of the PAFA Annual Exhibitions."
