E25000-35000 Provenance: To be included in Kaycee Benton's forthcoming catalogue raisonn‚ on Helen Turner. The painting "A Lady Reading" was listed in the book Biographical Sketches of American Artists published by Michigan State Library in 1915 and 1924 as of the best of Turner's works. Note: The unknown model is seated in the artist's summer cottage in Cragsmoor, New York.
