An American Classical Carved Mahogany Center Table, c. 1833, attributed to J. & J.W. Meeks, New York, original "Egyptian" marble top, molded frieze, faceted stem, scrolled legs, casters, height 29 1/2 in., diameter 34 1/2 in Note: A center table nearly identical to the lot offered here is part of the historic furnishings at Melrose, Natchez.
