( 1734-1816), first Bishop of Nova Scotia, after a prototype of 1810 by Robert Field (British, 1769-1819), since 1895 in the National Portrait Gallery, London (No. 1023); the other representing H.R.H. Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (1819-1861), Prince Consort of H.R.H. Queen Victoria, in the uniform of a Field Marshal, after a photograph; both oils on canvas; first, inscribed and dated 1909 lower left, the second signed and dated 1908 lower left, each 44 in. x 34 in., unframed.
