John Irwin Bright (American-Pennsylvania, 1869-1940), "Parisian Street Scene", signed lower left, with original early label on reverse, sight 171-2 in. x 103/4 in., in a period gilt and gessoed frame. E800-1200 Note: Bright studied at Princeton and The University of Pennsylvania before traveling to Paris to study painting and architecture at the ecole de Beaux-Arts. He remained there for several years before returning via Tangier to Philadelphia where he worked as an architect and planner.
