Doyle Ford maintained studio-homes in Memphis and Jacksonville as well as New York City. In New York she studied with Howard Chandler and was a member of the National Arts Club and Pen and Brush Club. The painting of 'Mexican Peasant' reflects her work as both a portrait and still life painter.
