Kentucky Coin Silver Agricultural Premium Julep Cup,
1857, by Samuel Simpson (1807-1872), act. Clarksville, TN and Hopkinsville, KY, for the Christian County [Kentucky] Agricultural and Mechanical Association; tapered cylindrical form with beaded molded banding, seamed construction, marked "S.SIMPSON" in rectangle, engraved "Made by/S. Simpson/for/Christian Co. A. and M./Association/1857", also engraved "1857" on underside.
