Lazzaro Donati (Italian, 1926-1977), "Portovenere ", oil and wax crayon on panel, signed upper right, 15 1/4 in. x 13 3/4 in., matted and framed. Note: Donati studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, where he lived most of his life. He exhibited widely in Europe and the United States, and his work is in the collections of the National Gallery of Art in Florence, the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice, the Modern Art Museum in Rio de Janeiro, and the Pitti Palace in Florence.
