  • Provenance: Provenance : Descended in the Ellis/Denis/Beauvais-Decuir family. Note: The gentleman depicted in this portrait may be Adolphe Tanneret, the half brother of Antoinette Decuir (1826-1896), whose portrait was sold in these rooms as lot 444, May 22, 2010 and the son of Louise Suzanne Antoinette de Beauvais (1791-1872), whose portrait hangs at Parlange Plantation.
