Marie Atkinson Hull (American/Mississippi, 1890-1980), "Gloxinias", oil on canvasboard, signed lower right, pencil-signed, titled, and inscribed "Jackson, Miss", with a note reading "Purchased January 8, 1972, from the artist at her home. She dated the painting ten or fifteen years earlier", and with "Brown's / Jackson, Mississippi" backing paper en verso, 19 7/8 in. x 23 7/8 in., framed. Provenance: Acquired from the artist in 1972; descended in the family of the purchaser, Mississippi.
