Description:

Life with Flowers and Letter", oil on canvas, signed and dated 1891 lower left, 13" x 17", original ornate carved and gilt frame with W.E. seebold, New Orleans, frame label. Note: M.M. Seebold was wife of artist Andres Molinary. She was the second woman to be accepted as a member of the Artist's association of New Orleans. She exhibited at the Arts and Crafts club and was a member of the Southern States Art League. She conducted art classes at the Delgado Museum of Art and gave private lessons in her home.
