A New Orleans Coin Silver Soup/Tablespoon, c. 1820-1830, Jean-Noel Delarue (1776-1842), wc.1802-1842, marked "De/ Larue" in script in oval flanked by bees in octagonal cartouches, fiddle back with mid rib, engraved on reverse "SU/No. 1/*", length 8 1/4 in., weight 2.3 troy ozs. Provenance: A New Orleans Gentleman.
