Norman Lloyd Australian, 1897-1985, "The Footbridge", oil on canvas, signed lower right, 13in. x 16in. E4000-6000 Note: Norman Lloyd was formally trained in his native Australia. A well- known artist in Australia, Lloyd first exhibited abroad in 1926 at the Paris Salon and at the Royal Academy in London. his Post-Impressionist style was greatly admired by the French. In 1956 the artist was awarded the Medaille D'Argent by the Paris Salon.
