A Pair of Cast Iron Garden Settees, after Coalbrookdale, the back composed of scrolled roudels of oak leaves and acorns with ivy tendrils, rounded arms terminating in lion's heads, slatted wooden seat, oak leaf rail, on arched cabriole legs ending in paw feet Note: Originally designed by John Bell, one of the Coalbrookdale principal sculptors, this bench form was number 119253 when registered at the British Public Record office on March 8, 1859. This pattern is illustrated as seat no. 30 in the 1875 Coalbrookdale catalogue, section III, page 256.
