Smith (American, b. 1894), "Pirate's Alley", "The Old Spanish Mint", "Mississippi Ferry", and "Vicksburg", four miniature etchings, all pencil-signed and titled, editions of 100, 2 in. x 1 1/2 in., 2 in. x 1 5/8 in., 1 1/2 in. x 1 7/8 in., 1 1/2 in. x 1 3/4 in. plates respectively; and "Pirate's Alley", etching, pencil-signed and titled, numbered 30/75, 8 in. x 6 in. plate; together with W. Stuart Archibald (American/New Orleans, 20th c.), "New Orleans Patio", watercolor, signed lower right, 5 3/4 in. x 5 3/4 in., all unframed, (6 pcs.) Provenance: Estate of Morris Henry Hobbs, Mandeville, Louisiana. Paul H. Smith and Morris Henry Hobbs were both members of the Chicago Society of Etchers and participated in the miniature print revival of the 1930s and 1940s."
