Perkins Harnly (American/California, 1901-1986, active New Orleans, 1930-31), two paintings including "Sears Roebuck Catalog 1908 (The letter): Every item is a composite of that catalog, dated by the Teddy Bear in commemoration of Teddy Roosevelt's big game hunting. Monumental baseburner and grill for upstairs, was a work of art, chenille rope portiers, hall tree, etc. homes were not complete - including the Edison disc phonograph. The lady's lover was there; lady passed out; so the husband and lover shook hands", watercolor, 1971, unsigned, 22 1/2 in. x 30 in.; and "Tempest and Sunshine (Sacred and Profane): The strip teaser unveiling her charms while her sister is modestly covering her anatomy with corset and voluminous petticoat...leaning on Lilies are purity and white bells are decoration...the drawers over the staircase belong to the good lady", watercolor, 1970, unsigned, 22 in. x 29 1/2 in., both unframed.
