An Antique Photographic Archive of Bohemian Club/Grove and California, 1907-1910, presented in a leather-bound album, photos 3 in. x 4 1/2 in. or smaller, with two large loose, including 33 images of Bohemian Club members engaged in various pursuits at the Grove and along the Russian River; and also over 100 photographs of the Deane family in Yosemite, Santa Cruz, Monterrey, Lake Tahoe, along the Truckee River, Mt. Shasta and photos of the San Francisco Fire, most places and subjects identified in pencil on mounts; together with an extra-illustrated ALS from club member and California artist Xavier Martinz (1869-1943); ALS from club member and author Charles Warren Stoddard (1843-1909); an invitation for the 1937 Bohemian Grove Jinks celebration of Gilbert and Sullivan, noting Louis Deane as Sire; and a telegram from member Oliver Wendell Holmes in the form of a poem, sent to Dr. C.T. Deane, Bohemian Jinks, Feb., 28, 1874.
